Line up every quote you have. We convert each one to the numbers that matter, check production and price against local data, expose hidden loan fees, and flag the tactics that cost homeowners the most.
Optional, but it lets us check production claims and prices against local data.
Fill in what each quote shows. Leave blanks if a quote doesn't say; a missing number is often a red flag itself. Everything stays in your browser.

Convert each quote to price per watt (total price before incentives divided by system watts) and to cost per kWh over the system's life. Check that production estimates are realistic for your roof, that the panels and inverter are named by model, and that warranties include at least 10 years of workmanship coverage.
Cash prices around $2.50 to $3.50 per watt before incentives are typical in most states. Loan-financed prices often run higher because of dealer fees. Your state's typical price appears when you enter your ZIP code.
Not for a system you buy and install in 2026. The residential credit ended for installations completed after December 31, 2025. Leases and PPAs can still use a business credit, but the provider keeps it.
