What the numbers suggest
- It mostly installs systems owned by leasing or PPA companies. If you want to own your system, ask for a cash or loan quote and compare it with a lease carefully.
- A shorter track record (3 years in records) means more uncertainty about long-term warranty support. Ask who backs the workmanship warranty if the company closes.
- Batteries are a large share of its installs. Check whether a battery actually pays off for you before agreeing to one.
Before you sign with any installer
- Verify the contractor license and look for complaints with your state board and attorney general.
- Get at least three quotes and compare them in our quote comparison tool.
- Ask who does the installation (their own crews or subcontractors) and who backs the workmanship warranty.
- Read our solar sales red flags.
